Burschell
Henry Burschell founded the Burschell Dairy Company in 1880 when he began milk deliveries with a horse and wagon from Hampton Street in West Scranton. From that humble beginning, the Burshell Dairy Co. grew into a major operation employing 127 people and supplying thousands of customers on 45 delivery routes through Lackawanna and Wyoming Counties.
In 1967 Burschell was noted as Scranton oldest Dairy which was then operated by Henry's son, George.
Henry died in 1937.

Spencer |
Spencer, Ambrose d. 1931 (related to Edward)
Ambrose Spencer was born in Dunmore in 1850. After graduating from Wyoming Seminary and Gardner's Business School, he assisted his father in an oil business at Oil City at age 18.
Later he returned to Scranton and built the Capouse Merchant Iron Works, later known as the Green Ridge Iron Works, manufacturers of railroad spikes.
He was a lover of horses and his stables held in some of the finest specimens of equine beauty.
