Pierce

     Horatio Pierce is listed in the 1887 Scranton City Directory as a banker at the old Library Building, currently the site of the Diversified Records (the Globe Store).

     He was also president of the First National Bank of Carbondale and President of the Lackawanna Coal Company in Olyphant.

     He resided at 431 Washington Avenue and died in 1888.
